Book Dermot Kennedy

Dermot Kennedy is an Irish singer and songwriter whose music fuses folk storytelling with hip-hop rhythms and a husky, emotive voice. He started out busking on Dublin's Grafton Street as a teenager, self-released the EP Dancing Under Red Skies in 2010, and was invited by Glen Hansard to sing at a Frames show at Vicar Street in 2014. Self-released songs including "An Evening I Will Not Forget" and "After Rain" found a large online audience in 2016, launching him internationally. Interscope and Island Records back his releases. His EPs include Doves & Ravens (2017), Mike Dean Presents: Dermot Kennedy (2018), Lost in the Soft Light (2020) and I've Told the Trees Everything (2024). His debut album, Without Fear (2019), was followed by Sonder (2022) and The Weight of the Woods (2026). Signature singles include "Young & Free", "Power Over Me" (2018), "Outnumbered" (2019), "Giants" (2020) and "Kiss Me" (2022), and he features on Meduza's "Paradise" (2020). He self-organized his first North American shows in 2017 and has since grown into an arena-scale performer whose concerts feel both intimate and anthemic.
