Book Deaf Havana
Hailing from Hunstanton and King's Lynn in Norfolk, Deaf Havana are an English alt-rock group known for heartfelt, anthemic songs that have grown from post-hardcore roots into big, melodic rock. The group formed in 2005 while studying at The College of West Anglia, though several founding members had already been playing together in local bands at Smithdon High School. Fronted by James Veck-Gilodi, the band built an early following with demos and the debut EP Evangeline, then released their first album, Meet Me Halfway, At Least (2009). Fools and Worthless Liars (2011) and Old Souls (2013) brought a more personal, storytelling style that broadened their audience, followed by All These Countless Nights (2017), Rituals (2018), The Present Is a Foreign Land (2022) and We're Never Getting Out (2025), giving them seven studio albums. The name itself, suggested by early guitarist Sebastian Spitz, has no literal meaning. Across the years the band has developed a reputation for honest, emotionally direct lyrics and soaring choruses. On stage, Deaf Havana deliver passionate rock shows where devoted fans sing every word back to the band.
