Book Carlos Boozer

Carlos Boozer is an American basketball star who made the NBA All-Star team twice and won Olympic medals for Team USA. Raised in Juneau, Alaska, he was a two-time Parade All-American who led Juneau-Douglas High School to back-to-back state titles before choosing Duke University, where he played for Mike Krzyzewski, helped win the 2001 NCAA championship and was named 2002 ACC Tournament MVP. The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted him in 2002, and he quickly became a double-double machine, averaging 15.5 points and 11.4 rebounds in his second season. He went on to star as a powerful, skilled power forward for the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls, later suiting up for the Los Angeles Lakers before closing his career overseas with the Guangdong Southern Tigers. On the international stage he earned a bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics and gold at the 2008 Beijing Games. Boozer was inducted into the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 and the National High School Hall of Fame in 2023, and he returned to Duke to complete his bachelor's degree in 2020. He brings championship stories from every level of the game.
