Book Brett Gelman
Brett Gelman is an American actor and comedian best known as the conspiracy-minded journalist Murray Bauman on Netflix's Stranger Things and as Martin in the acclaimed comedy Fleabag. After college he moved to New York with fellow actor Jon Daly and became a regular at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, performing in sketch duos and groups and developing his one-man show 1,000 Cats. His alt-comedy sensibility found a home at Adult Swim, where he played Chris Elliott's sidekick Brett Mobley on Eagleheart and released specials in 2014 and 2015. He was also a regular on NBC's Go On, Comedy Central's Another Period and FX's Married, and appeared in Funny or Die Presents and Nick Swardson's Pretend Time. His film credits include The Other Guys, 30 Minutes or Less, Jobs (2013) and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (2022). Later television roles include Camping, Mr. Mercedes and the Apple TV+ drama Lady in the Lake. As a voice actor he has worked on Jeff & Some Aliens, TripTank, I Heart Arlo, Inside Job and the film Arlo the Alligator Boy (2021), with Hexed due in 2026.
