Book Rico Rodriguez
Rico Rodriguez is an American actor best known as Manny Delgado, the precocious, old-soul son of Sofía Vergara's character on ABC's sitcom Modern Family, which ran from 2009 to 2020. Co-creator Steve Levitan called Manny one of the hardest roles to cast, and Rodriguez made the part his own. As part of the show's ensemble, he was part of eight SAG Award nominations for best comedy cast, taking the prize on four occasions. He started acting as a child, playing a character on Cory in the House at age nine and guest-starring on ER, iCarly, Nip/Tuck, My Name Is Earl and NCIS. His film work includes Epic Movie, the chess-team coming-of-age story Endgame (2015) and the animated El Americano: The Movie, and he has appeared on Nickelodeon's The Substitute and Unfiltered. In 2012 he published a book, Reel Life Lessons... So Far, sharing what he learned growing up on set. Rodriguez brings a charming, articulate presence, a lifetime in the industry and recognition from a hugely popular family comedy.
