Book Bag Raiders
Bag Raiders is an Australian electronic duo made up of Jack Glass and Chris Stracey, who met in the orchestra room at Cranbrook School in Sydney and began working together in 2006. Both classically trained, they play keyboards and drums, sing, produce and remix, with Stracey adding guitar, violin and piano. Their self-titled debut album arrived in October 2010 and reached the top ten of the ARIA albums chart, earning a J Award nomination for album of the year. Its single "Shooting Stars" found a second life in 2017 when it spread across the internet as a meme, introducing the duo to a worldwide audience years after release. They followed with the album Horizons in 2019. Bag Raiders also write and produce for other artists, and their live shows pair bright synth hooks with the confidence of two musicians who treat dance music as songwriting rather than just beats.
