Book Amanda Peet

Amanda Peet is an American actress and writer with a sharp comic touch and a long run of film and television favorites. She made her feature debut in the drama Animal Room (1995). Her scene-stealing turn as Jill St. Claire in The Whole Nine Yards (2000) made her a star, and she followed with Saving Silverman (2001), High Crimes, Changing Lanes and Igby Goes Down (all 2002), Something's Gotta Give and Identity (both 2003), Melinda and Melinda (2004), and A Lot Like Love and Syriana (both 2005). Later films include The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008), Five Dollars a Day (2008), 2012 (2009), Gulliver's Travels (2010), Identity Thief and The Way, Way Back (both 2013). On television she led The WB's Jack & Jill, played network chief Jordan McDeere on Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and starred in HBO's Togetherness, IFC's Brockmire, the second season of Dirty John, the Paramount+ series Fatal Attraction and Apple TV+'s Your Friends & Neighbors. She also created and co-executive produced The Chair (2021) for Netflix. Peet brings wit, warmth and recognizable star appeal.
