Book Ali Campbell
Ali Campbell, born Alistair Ian Campbell in 1959, is a singer and songwriter from Birmingham, England, who sang lead and co-founded the reggae band UB40. The group sold seventy million records worldwide and toured for thirty years with its original lineup. In 2008 Campbell left to continue under his own banner, and he has since toured with his own band, with keyboard player Astro and others. He has made five studio albums as a solo artist or with his own group, including Big Love in 1995, Running Free in 2007, Flying High in 2009, Great British Songs in 2010 and Silhouette in 2014, and he has four Grammy nominations. His warm, easygoing voice is a signature sound of reggae-pop. Campbell's concerts are laid-back, feel-good celebrations of the classic songs, performed by a polished band.
