Book Voca People
Voca People is a vocal theater ensemble that recreates the sound of a full orchestra using nothing but a cappella singing and beatboxing. Created by Lior Halfon and Shai Fishman, the show presents a troupe of performers dressed head to toe in white with bright red lips, playing visitors from the Planet Voca, a world beyond the Sun where all communication happens through music. Their spaceship runs on music, and they come to Earth to explore its vast song catalog under the motto "Life is music and music is life." The group became a sensation in Italy after a YouTube clip went viral, leading to appearances on Ale e Franz, Domenica In and the Italian X Factor and a 2010 Italian tour. Often compared to Blue Man Group, the ensemble has played Spain, the United States, Hungary, France, England and Israel, tailoring songs and audience interaction to each country. They performed at the closing ceremony of the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival in 2015 and at the opening of the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, and released Life Is Music (Deluxe Edition) in 2015. Voca People delivers a family-friendly, interactive and hilarious musical spectacle.
