Book Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess Of York

Sarah Ferguson, affectionately called Fergie, is an author, charity advocate and TV personality from England who became a familiar public figure after becoming Duchess of York in 1986. Raised in Dummer, Hampshire, she trained at the Queen's Secretarial College and worked in public relations and publishing in London before stepping into the spotlight. She has built a long writing career for children and adults, creating the Budgie the Little Helicopter books and publishing the memoir Sarah: My Story and the novel Her Heart for a Compass. She has also worked in television and film production, including a producing role on the period drama The Young Victoria (2009). Her charitable work has focused on supporting cancer patients and children, and she started two charities of her own, Sarah's Trust and Children in Crisis.
