Book Saint Motel
Saint Motel is a Los Angeles indie pop band known for big hooks, danceable grooves and a strong visual, cinematic streak. Singer, songwriter and producer A. J. Jackson and lead guitarist Aaron Sharp formed the group while studying film in Southern California, later joined by bassist Dak Lerdamornpong and drummer Greg Erwin. That film-school background shows: their 2009 debut EP ForPlay came with a music video for every one of its six songs. The full-length debut Voyeur (2012) drew praise from outlets ranging from The Washington Post to Daytrotter, and the 2014 EP My Type turned its title song into a hit across Europe, leading to a deal with Elektra Records and a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The catalog continued with saintmotelevision (2016) and The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (2021), followed in 2025 by Saint Motel & the Symphony in the Sky and Afterglow, with the Symphony in the Sky Tour taking the music on the road that year. Saint Motel delivers a joyful, danceable live show packed with sing-along choruses and theatrical flair.
