Book Reckless Kelly

Reckless Kelly is a country rock band that formed in Stanley, Idaho, in February 1996 by brothers Willy Braun on vocals and guitar and Cody Braun on vocals, fiddle, mandolin and harmonica. The Brauns grew up near the Sawtooth Mountains and cut their teeth touring with their father's Western swing outfit, Muzzie Braun and the Boys, even appearing twice on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1989. After relocating to Austin, Texas, in October 1996, the band became a fixture on Sixth Street, where their Monday night residency turned Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar into a noted music room. Their catalog spans Millican (1998), The Day (2000), Under the Table & Above the Sun (2003), Wicked Twisted Road (2005), Bulletproof (2008), Somewhere in Time (2010), Good Luck & True Love (2011), Long Night Moon (2013), Sunset Motel (2016), American Jackpot / American Girls (2020), The Last Frontier (2024) and Alternate Routes (2026). Blending Texas roots rock, Americana and western tradition, they are a staple of the Texas and Red Dirt scene. Live, they deliver tight, rowdy sets driven by fiddle, twin guitars and family harmonies.
