$100K–$250K · estimate

Pepper is a three-piece reggae rock band born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and now based in San Diego, featuring vocalist and guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist and bassist Bret Bollinger and drummer Yesod Williams. Wassman and Bollinger, friends since middle school, started the group in 1996, drawing on Hawaiian artist Three Plus and mainland favorites such as Sublime before recruiting Williams, and the band name came from a recurring Saturday Night Live sketch the trio loved. Pepper broke out with Give'n It (2000) and the island-flavored Kona Town (2002), then kept a steady run of records going with In With the Old (2004), No Shame (2006), Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations (2008), a self-titled album in 2013, Ohana (2016), Local Motion (2019), Makai (2023) and Operation Irie (2025), along with two live albums. The band has toured widely, including the 2007 Vans Warped Tour and the 2009 Jägermeister Music Tour. Their shows are a laid-back, sing-along party, mixing beach-ready reggae grooves with punk energy and big, catchy hooks that longtime fans know by heart.
