Book Night Ranger

Night Ranger is a San Francisco hard rock band that rose to fame in the 1980s. The band traces its roots to Rubicon, a pop and funk outfit fronted by Jerry Martini, once saxophonist for Sly and the Family Stone; after Rubicon ended in 1979, bassist Jack Blades, drummer Kelly Keagy and guitarist Brad Gillis went on to form what became Night Ranger, officially incorporated in 1982. Their best-known song is the power ballad "Sister Christian", which climbed to number five on the Hot 100 in 1984, and they scored more Top 40 hits with "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", "When You Close Your Eyes", "Sentimental Street", "Four in the Morning (I Can't Take Any More)" and "Goodbye". After splitting in 1989, the members reunited in 1996 and released two new albums before the decade ended. Gillis and Keagy have been with the band throughout, and Blades has played on all but one of their albums; the current lineup also features guitarist Keri Kelli and keyboardist Eric Levy. Night Ranger continue to record and tour, delivering twin-guitar fireworks and radio anthems.
