Mozzy is the Sacramento, California rapper Timothy Patterson, born June 24, 1987, known for vivid, emotionally raw street storytelling and a remarkably prolific work rate. He began recording in 1999 as Lil Tim, released his first full-time single in 2010 and his debut solo mixtape, Money Means Mozzy, in 2011. His 2015 mixtape Bladadah was ranked among the year's best rap albums by Rolling Stone and gave him a breakout run in the eyes of critics. Each of his first seven studio albums, 1 Up Top Ahk (2017), Gangland Landlord (2018), Beyond Bulletproof (2020), Occupational Hazard (2020), Untreated Trauma (2021), Survivor’s Guilt (2022) and CHILDREN OF THE SLUMS (2024), reached the Billboard 200, as did his collaborative album with YG, Kommunity Service (2021), and the CMG compilations Gangsta Art and Gangsta Art 2. His best-known single, "Last One Standing" with Skylar Grey, Polo G and Eminem, appeared in the film Venom: Let There Be Carnage and entered the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021. After years with the independent Black Market Records, he signed with Yo Gotti's Collective Music Group in 2022.
