Book J-Kwon
J-Kwon is a St. Louis rapper best known for "Tipsy," the 2004 party anthem that climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and still fills dance floors today. Signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, an Arista imprint, he released "Tipsy" as the lead single from his debut album Hood Hop (2004), which reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and also yielded "You & Me" featuring Sadiyyah. The song became an international hit as well, landing in the top ten in Australia and New Zealand. In 2005 he joined Mike Jones on labelmate Bow Wow's single "Fresh Azimiz," which peaked at No. 23 on the Hot 100, and teamed with Petey Pablo and Ebony Eyez on "Get XXX'd" for the film XXX: State of the Union. He also collaborated with comedian Andy Milonakis on "Like Dis" to promote The Andy Milonakis Show. Later projects include "Boo Boo" on his own Hood Hop Music label, Hood Hop 2.5 (2009) and J-Kwon The Lost Tapes (2010). Live, J-Kwon brings instantly recognizable mid-2000s hip-hop energy, capped by a singalong chorus everyone knows.
