Book Lou Ferrigno

Lou Ferrigno is an American actor and former champion bodybuilder whose name is synonymous with the Incredible Hulk. As a bodybuilder he captured the IFBB Mr. America title and back-to-back IFBB Mr. Universe crowns, trained alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, and placed second at his first Mr. Olympia in 1974 and third the following year. His bid to beat Schwarzenegger was captured in the landmark documentary Pumping Iron (1977), which made him famous. That same year he began his most iconic role, the green-skinned title character of CBS's The Incredible Hulk (1977), which ran through 1982, and he went on to voice the Hulk in later animated and computer-generated versions, including The Incredible Hulk (2008). He also headlined European fantasy adventures such as Hercules (1983), The Adventures of Hercules (1985) and Sinbad of the Seven Seas (1989), and charmed a new generation playing himself on The King of Queens and in the comedy I Love You, Man (2009). Inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame in 2017, Ferrigno brings inspiring stories of discipline, determination and pop-culture history to audiences of all ages.
