Book Jungle

Jungle is a British band founded in London in 2013 by childhood friends and Shepherd's Bush neighbors Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, who first appeared simply as J and T, letting artwork and striking dance-driven videos speak for the project. Their self-titled debut album, Jungle, arrived in 2014 and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, and they followed it with For Ever in 2018 on XL Recordings. Moving to their own independent label, Caiola Records, they released Loving in Stereo in 2021, Volcano in 2023 and Sunshine in 2026, and they earned a Libera Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Vocalist and co-writer Lydia Kitto, a key contributor to Loving in Stereo and Volcano, became a full member in late 2023 after the band's BRIT nomination for Group of the Year. Rather than playing from laptops, Jungle expanded into a seven-piece live band that rebuilds their songs with real instruments and harmonies. The result is a joyful, groove-heavy show blending modern soul, funk and disco that keeps crowds dancing from the first song to the last.
