Book Jacob Lusk
Jacob Lusk is an American singer from Compton, California, with a powerhouse gospel-rooted voice that first reached a national audience on the tenth season of American Idol. During the Hollywood rounds, his version of "God Bless the Child" drew praise from judge Randy Jackson as one of the finest performances the show had seen. He advanced from the semifinals into the Top 13 and finished in fifth place, and during the season finale he shared the stage with Kirk Franklin and Gladys Knight. That summer he toured with the American Idols Live! Tour 2011, which ran from Utah in July to Manila in September, and made television appearances on the Today show and Live with Regis and Kelly. In 2016 he formed the band Gabriels with Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope, bringing his soaring vocals to a soulful, cinematic sound. In June 2023 he joined Elton John on stage to sing "Are You Ready for Love" during one of John's headline performances. Lusk brings church-trained power, emotional depth and real showmanship to every performance, from intimate rooms to festival stages.
