Book Graham Nash
Graham Nash is the British-American singer and songwriter whose clear, high tenor helped define two great harmony groups, the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Born in Blackpool in February 1942 and raised in Salford, he started the Hollies in the early 1960s with school friend Allan Clarke and sang on hits including "Just One Look". Moving to California, he joined David Crosby and Stephen Stills in a new trio that soon became a quartet with Neil Young. Nash wrote many of that group's best-loved songs, among them "Teach Your Children", "Marrakesh Express", "Just a Song Before I Go", "Wasted on the Way" and "Our House", his portrait of the Laurel Canyon home he shared with Joni Mitchell. He is one of the few musicians inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with CSN in 1997 and the Hollies in 2010, and he was made an OBE in 2010 for services to music and charity. He is also a respected photographer and collector and an early pioneer of digital fine-art printing, and he still tours with his own band.
