Book The Hollies
The Hollies are a British pop and rock group formed in Salford in 1962 by singer Allan Clarke and guitarist Graham Nash, with guitarist Tony Hicks and drummer Bobby Elliott joining the classic lineup. Their harmony-rich songs include "Bus Stop," "Look Through Any Window," "Carrie Anne," "Stop Stop Stop," "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother," "The Air That I Breathe" and "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)." Nash left in 1968 and later co-founded Crosby, Stills and Nash. The band released twenty-five albums, including Evolution, Butterfly and Hollies Sing Dylan, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)" reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972, and "Bus Stop" and "Carrie Anne" were American top-ten hits. Their recordings remain classics of pop harmony.
