Book First Aid Kit
First Aid Kit, a folk duo from Stockholm, is built around two sisters. Klara and Johanna Söderberg are sisters, with Johanna the elder, and both were born in the early 1990s. On tour they are joined by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboardist. They gained international attention in 2008 when a YouTube video of their cover of the Fleet Foxes song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song" spread online. Their studio albums are The Big Black & The Blue in 2010, The Lion's Roar in 2012, Stay Gold in 2014, Ruins in 2018 and Palomino in 2022. The sisters won the Nordic Music Prize in 2012, received the Musikexportpriset in 2022 and earned BRIT Award nominations for international group in 2015 and 2019. Their sound combines country-tinged Americana with gorgeous, tightly woven sibling harmonies, and their concerts are intimate, emotional and beautifully sung.
