Book Eileen Ivers

Eileen Ivers is an American fiddler celebrated for carrying Irish traditional music onto the world's biggest stages, often on her signature indigo electric violin, nicknamed "Wild Blue." She co-founded the Irish group Cherish the Ladies, and in 1995 she joined the fiddle chair of the Riverdance troupe, touring with the production before leaving in 1999 to launch her own band, Immigrant Soul. Along the way she has shared stages with The Chieftains and the London Symphony Orchestra, spent a year on the road with Hall & Oates, and explored a Celtic and hip-hop fusion with Paddy A Go Go. Her solo catalog includes Eileen Ivers (1994), Wild Blue (1996), Crossing the Bridge (1999), the holiday set An Nollaig: An Irish Christmas (2007), Beyond the Bog Road (2014) and Scatter the Light (2020). Ivers has contributed to film scores including The Brothers McMullen and Some Mother's Son, and recorded "Lament for Stalker Wallace" for Gangs of New York (2002). She has also guested with the Boston Pops, Afro Celt Sound System and Black 47, and served on the first judging panel of the Independent Music Awards. Her concerts pair dazzling technique with high-energy showmanship.
