Book Danay García
Danay García is a Cuban-born American actress best known for two fan-favorite roles in hit dramas: Sofía Lugo on Fox's Prison Break (2007 to 2009) and Luciana Galvez on AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, which she played from 2016 to 2023. Her career began in Havana, where at 17 she played the lead in Eugenio Hernández Espinosa's Maria Antonia on stage. In the United States she landed her first feature role opposite Marisa Tomei in Danika, appeared on CSI: Miami and CSI: NY and in the film From Mexico with Love, then broke through as a series regular on Prison Break, a show also broadcast in Cuba so her family could watch her. During the 2007 writers' strike she advanced through several rounds of auditions for the Bond film Quantum of Solace. In 2009 she guest-starred as Anna on A&E's The Cleaner, followed by the film Rehab, the drama Liz in September and the lead role of Monica in the comedy Man Camp. She guest-starred on Hawaii Five-0 in 2017, and she also writes and produces. García brings bilingual charm and genre-fan appeal to conventions.
