Book Shane West

Shane West is an actor, punk singer and songwriter known for a string of memorable roles across film and television. He made his screen debut in 1995 on Picket Fences and broke through as Eli Sammler on ABC's Once and Again, a part he played for three seasons starting in 1999. His film debut came in Barry Levinson's Liberty Heights, followed by the teen comedies Whatever It Takes (2000) and Get Over It (2001). In 2002 he starred as Landon Carter opposite Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember, a performance that won a Teen Choice Award for their on-screen chemistry, and he also appeared in her music video "Cry." He went on to The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), played Dr. Ray Barnett on NBC's ER, led The CW's spy series Nikita as Michael Bishop and starred as John Alden in WGN's Salem. Critics praised his turn as punk icon Darby Crash in the biopic What We Do Is Secret, and music has stayed central to his life: he has fronted the Germs and performed with Jonny Was and the Twilight Creeps. He brings both screen charisma and rock-stage energy to live appearances.
