Book Christie Brinkley

Christie Brinkley is an American model whose name became shorthand for the classic cover-girl era of the late 1970s and 1980s. She made history by landing the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue three years running, in 1979, 1980 and 1981, a run no one had managed before. Her partnership with CoverGirl lasted a remarkable 25 years, one of the longest deals of its kind in the beauty business, and over her career she has fronted upward of 500 magazine covers along with campaigns for fashion and lifestyle brands alike. Discovered in Paris in 1973 by photographer Errol Sawyer, she was soon signed through Elite and booked for three national ad campaigns soon after returning to California. Beyond modeling, Brinkley built a wide creative portfolio as an actress, illustrator, photographer, author, designer and television personality, and she has long championed causes tied to human rights, animal welfare and the environment. Allure and Men's Health have both celebrated her on their all-time beauty lists. On a stage she brings genuine icon status, decades of industry stories and an easy, sunny presence.
