Book Paz Vega

Paz Vega is a Spanish actress, writer and director whose career spans Spanish television, European cinema and Hollywood. She began on Spanish TV in the late 1990s and made her film debut in Zapping (1999), then became a household name as Laura on the hit sitcom 7 vidas, a series often called Spain's answer to Friends. Her lead role in Julio Médem's Sex and Lucia (2001) brought her to a much wider audience, and she followed with Mine Alone (2001), The Other Side of the Bed (2002), Carmen (2003) and Theresa: The Body of Christ (2007). American audiences met her opposite Adam Sandler in James L. Brooks's Spanglish (2004), and she co-starred with Morgan Freeman in 10 Items or Less. Later credits include Grace of Monaco (2014), Rambo: Last Blood (2019) and the role of Catalina Creel in the series Cradle of Wolves. She stepped behind the camera with Rita (2024), which she wrote and directed. Her honors include a Goya Award, the Trophée Chopard at Cannes and the title of Dearest Son of Andalusia. Vega brings bilingual charm and creative insight from both sides of the Atlantic.
