Book Brian Vander Ark

Brian Vander Ark is the American musician who fronts and writes for the rock band the Verve Pipe. Raised in Michigan, he played in local bands with his brother Brad before the two launched the Verve Pipe in 1992 alongside Brian Stout on guitar and Donny Brown on drums. After two independent albums, the band signed to a major label and released Villains (1996), which featured Vander Ark's song "The Freshmen" (1997), a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and one of the defining alternative rock ballads of the late 1990s. "Never Let You Down" (2001), from the album Underneath, became a staple of adult pop radio. Alongside the band, he has built a long solo career, releasing albums including Resurrection (2003), Angel, Put Your Face On (2006), a self-titled record (2008), Magazine (2011), Wonderland (2011), Simple Truths (2016) and the Planet Sunday Sessions series. Known for intimate, story-driven shows, Vander Ark has also toured living rooms and small venues, connecting closely with fans through heartfelt songs and candid stories.
