Book Bonobo
Bonobo is the stage name of Simon Green, an English producer and DJ now based in Los Angeles who built his catalog on Tru Thoughts and later Ninja Tune. His 2000 debut Animal Magic opened a run of albums that includes Dial 'M' for Monkey, Days to Come, Black Sands in 2010, The North Borders in 2013, Migration in 2017 and Fragments in 2022, with Distance in Static following in 2026. Green began with a trip-hop sound and gradually widened it into house, jazz and world-music textures. Grammy.com lists seven Grammy nominations for his work, and he has also won a Libera Award for best dance and electronic album. Green's records are built from organic instruments and sampling, and his live show pairs him with a full band, giving festival crowds the warmth of a group performance alongside deep electronic production.
