Book Blink-182
Blink-182 is the Southern California band that carried pop-punk into the mainstream. Formed in Poway in 1992, the group is best known in its lineup of bassist and singer Mark Hoppus, guitarist and singer Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker. Emerging from the local skate punk scene with founding drummer Scott Raynor, they built a following through relentless touring, high-energy shows and irreverent humor, releasing Cheshire Cat (1995) and Dude Ranch (1997) on an independent label. Barker joined in 1998, and after signing to MCA the band released Enema of the State (1999) and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001), the commercial peak that produced the MTV staples "All the Small Things," "Dammit" and "What's My Age Again?" and inspired a new wave of pop-punk bands. Later records explored new directions, including the untitled blink‐182 (2003), Neighborhoods (2011), the EP Dogs Eating Dogs (2012), California (2016), NINE (2019) and ONE MORE TIME… (2023), and they headlined the 10th Annual Honda Civic Tour and a 20th Anniversary Tour in 2011. The band has one Grammy nomination. Blink-182 delivers fast, funny, singalong punk anthems.
