Her portrayal of the seductive assassin Fatima Blush in Never Say Never Again (1983) earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress, her second Globe nod after being named a New Star of the Year nominee for The Master Gunfighter. Carrera began modeling with the Eileen Ford agency at seventeen and appeared on the pages and covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Paris Match before moving into film with a cameo in Puzzle of a Downfall Child (1970). Her movie credits include The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977), Condorman (1981), I, the Jury (1982), Lone Wolf McQuade (1983), Wild Geese II with Laurence Olivier and Point of Impact (1993). On television she played Clay Basket in the epic miniseries Centennial, appeared in the miniseries Masada (1981) and joined the ninth season of Dallas as Angelica Nero. Carrera has since stepped away from acting and turned to painting, bringing classic Hollywood glamour and Bond-era nostalgia.
