Book Angerfist
Angerfist is the Dutch hardcore producer and DJ Danny Masseling, known as the King of Hardcore, who appeared in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll for thirteen consecutive years from 2011 to 2023 and won its Highest Hard category seven times. He signed to BZRK Records in 2001 after sending a demo to label head DJ Buzz Fuzz, and his aggressive nustyle sound, built on distorted kicks, film samples and a love of 1990s gangsta rap, made him a fixture of the gabber scene. Tracks such as "Dance with the Wolves," "Riotstarter" and "Raise Your Fist," whose chant "Raise your fist for Angerfist" became his calling card, led to his producing the 2005 Masters of Hardcore anthem, "The World Will Shiver." His albums run from Pissin' Razorbladez (2006) through Mutilate, Retaliate, The Deadfaced Dimension, Raise & Revolt, Creed of Chaos and Diabolic Dice. Performing in a white hockey mask alongside MC Prozac, he has played Defqon.1, Thunderdome, Dominator, Mysteryland and Sensation Black, as well as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. He also records with the Supreme Team and Masters Elite.
