Book Andreya Triana
Andreya Triana is a singer and songwriter from South East London whose husky, soulful voice moves easily between soul, jazz and pop. A Red Bull Music Academy alumna and MOBO nominee, she made her debut with Lost Where I Belong (2010) on Ninja Tune, an album produced by Simon Green, better known as Bonobo, featuring "A Town Called Obsolete," "Far Closer" and the title track; Spin's Charles Aaron named it his best album of 2010. Her follow-up Giants (2015) arrived on Counter Records, and its lead single "Gold" broadened her audience through television performances on Later with Jools Holland, The One Show and The John Bishop Show. Life in Colour (2019), largely produced by Dimitri Tikovoï, delivered sunnier grooves with "Woman," "Freedom" and "Broke." Her catalog also includes Choices (2011). Songs like "Song For A Friend," "Gold" and "Woman" have been placed in film and television. Self-taught and inspired by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers, Triana brings warm, intimate vocals and uplifting soul-pop to the stage, equally suited to a hushed listening room or a festival crowd ready to move.
