Book Willy William

Willy William is a DJ, producer and rapper from France known for club-ready productions and high-profile vocal collaborations. He first made his mark in 2003 working with DJ Flex on the dance-floor hit "B Boyz Shake da Body", and in 2004 he produced "Tragedie" under the alias Lord William. He later became part of the French music collective Collectif Métissé while continuing to produce his own records and lend his voice to songs by other artists, scoring chart entries alongside acts such as DJ Assad, Keen'V and Ridsa. His solo breakthrough came in 2016 with "Ego", a self-produced and self-sung single from his album Une seule vie that charted across France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Poland. In 2017 he became an international name with "Mi Gente", his collaboration with Colombian star J Balvin, which spawned a remix featuring Beyoncé, won a Latin Billboard Music Award and won a MTV Video Music Award in 2018 for a Latin video. That year he also released "La La La" and appeared on David Guetta's "Goodbye". His DJ sets fuse Latin rhythms, French club energy and festival-sized drops.
