Book Vince Gill

Vince Gill is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist whose pure tenor and gifted picking have made him one of country music's most honored artists. He first drew wide attention as lead singer of Pure Prairie League from 1978 to 1982, singing their hit "Let Me Love You Tonight," and later played guitar in Rodney Crowell's band before going solo. His breakthrough came with When I Call Your Name (1989), opening a commercial peak in the early 1990s that included Pocket Full of Gold (1991) and I Still Believe in You (1992). Between 1992 and 1994 he reached number one with "I Still Believe in You," "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away," "One More Last Chance" and "Tryin' to Get Over You." Later albums include High Lonesome Sound (1996), The Key (1998), These Days (2006), Guitar Slinger (2011), Bakersfield (2013) and Okie (2019). With 22 Grammy wins, Gill holds the record among solo male country artists, and joined the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 1999. He has also played with the Time Jumpers and joined the Eagles in 2017. On stage he pairs heartfelt ballads with blistering guitar.
