TLC is a four-time Grammy winner with nine Billboard Hot 100 top-ten singles, four of which hit number one: "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty." Formed in Atlanta in 1990, the trio of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli debuted with Ooooooohhh…On the TLC Tip in 1992. CrazySexyCool (1994) won Best R&B Album, with "Creep" winning a second Grammy; FanMail (1999) repeated the feat, with the album and "No Scrubs" both winning. The group has 12 Grammy nominations, and its other honors include five MTV Video Music Awards, among them Video of the Year for "Waterfalls," along with an American Music Award for Artist of the Year and five Soul Train Music Awards. Billboard placed TLC seventh among all acts of the 1990s, and VH1 named it the greatest female group. After Lopes's death in 2002, T-Boz and Chilli continued as a duo, releasing 3D and the self-titled TLC (2017) and headlining tours including the 90s: The Party Continues Tour and the Whole Lotta Hits Tour.
