The Lumineers are the Denver-based folk-rock band behind "Ho Hey," "Stubborn Love," "Ophelia," "Angela" and "Cleopatra," with two Grammy nominations, in the Best New Artist and Americana album categories, from their first record. Wesley Schultz, on lead vocals and guitar, and Jeremiah Fraites, on drums, percussion and piano, started the band in Ramsey, New Jersey, in 2005 before relocating to Colorado. "Ho Hey" caught fire after a placement on The CW's Hart of Dixie and repeated daily spins from Seattle's KEXP, then climbed to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent eight weeks at the top of the Adult Pop Songs chart. Their 2012 self-titled debut reached number two on the Billboard 200, and Cleopatra (2016) debuted at number one. III followed in 2019, also opening at number two, then Brightside in 2022 and Automatic in 2025, all on the independent label Dualtone. The band has headlined arenas and stadiums across the United States and abroad, and its 2024 release Live from Wrigley Field captured the closing night of the Brightside World Tour at the Chicago ballpark.
