Book Scarlxrd
Scarlxrd is a leading figure in trap metal, the hybrid of trap production and heavy metal intensity that he helped bring to a global audience. Born Marius Listhrop in Wolverhampton, England, he first built an online following as the YouTuber Mazzi Maz, then fronted the nu metal band Myth City before launching his solo project. The video for his single "Heart Attack" became his calling card, passing 100 million YouTube views, and songs like "King, Scar," "6 Feet," "Berzerk" and "Head Gxne" cemented his sound of screamed vocals over booming 808s. He is remarkably prolific, with nineteen studio albums since 2016, among them DXXM (2018), INFINITY and IMMXRTALISATIXN (2019), SCARHXURS (2020), Dxxm II (2021), PSYCHX (2022), Made In Hell (2023), TRAPLXRD (2025) and All Fxr Nxthing (2026). His stylized spellings, swapping vowels for a X, have become a trademark of his releases. Scarlxrd has toured internationally on the strength of that catalog, and his crossover between rap and heavy music draws fans from both scenes.
