Book Sarah Goldberg

Sarah Goldberg is a Canadian actress best known as Sally Reed, the ambitious and struggling actress at the heart of HBO's dark comedy Barry (2018 to 2023). The role brought her a 2019 nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Goldberg built her reputation on the stage first. After her debut in The Member of the Wedding at the Young Vic, she worked at London theatres including the Bush, the Finborough and the Old Vic, where she appeared in Six Degrees of Separation. In 2011 she created the double part of Betsey and Lindsey in Bruce Norris's Clybourne Park at the Royal Court, earning an Olivier Award nomination before taking the production to Broadway. In New York she played Alison Porter in a 2012 off-Broadway revival of Look Back in Anger alongside Adam Driver and Matthew Rhys, then starred in The Great God Pan at Playwrights Horizons. On screen she has appeared in A Bunch of Amateurs (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), the comedy-drama series Hindsight (2015) and Eat Wheaties! (2020). She brings sharp wit and theatre-trained presence to every appearance.
