Book Pour Habit
Pour Habit is a punk rock band from Compton, California, built on fast, loud songs and a hard-charging live attack. The group made its debut in 2007 with the album Suiticide, and the record drew enough attention for the band to sign with the respected punk label Fat Wreck Chords in 2009, which put Suiticide back out that year to a wider audience. The band followed it with its second full-length, Got Your Back, which arrived on April 12, 2011 through the same label. Pour Habit also backed its records with music videos, starting with "Evolution" in 2007 and adding "Heads of State" and "Hell Bent" in 2011. The lineup features Chuck Green on vocals, Matt Hawks and Eric Walsh on guitars, Colin Walsh behind the drum kit and Steve Williams on bass, with Walsh and Williams also adding vocals. Coming out of Compton rather than the usual punk strongholds gives the band a story of its own, and its catalog delivers the raw energy, gang vocals and sharp riffs that punk crowds come to a show for.
