Book Phil Collins
Phil Collins is one of the defining voices of rock and pop, a singer, drummer, songwriter and producer who found global fame both with Genesis and as a solo star. Raised in West London, he started drumming at five and acted as a child, playing the Artful Dodger in Oliver! in the West End. He joined Genesis as drummer in 1970 and became lead singer in 1975, guiding the band into its biggest era, while also playing in the jazz fusion group Brand X. His solo debut Face Value (1981) launched "In the Air Tonight," followed by Hello, I Must Be Going! (1982), No Jacket Required (1985) and …But Seriously (1989), with hits including "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)," "Easy Lover," "Sussudio," "You Can't Hurry Love" and "Another Day in Paradise." He scored seven US No. 1 singles between 1982 and 1990. Collins has won eight Grammy Awards from 27 nominations, including Record of the Year and Best Soundtrack Album for Tarzan, and an Academy Award for "You'll Be in My Heart." A Disney Legend and MusiCares Person of the Year, he played his final concerts with Genesis in 2022.
