Paula Arenas is a Colombian pop singer and songwriter from Bogotá whose intimate, emotional songwriting has made her a Latin Grammy favorite. She launched her career independently in 2011 with a self-titled EP whose single "Lo Que El Tiempo Dejó," featuring Esteman, became a top 10 hit in Colombia. In 2015 she relocated to Miami and signed with producer Julio Reyes Copello's Art House Records, releasing the single "Nada" in 2016 to praise from peers including Juanes, Fonseca and Carla Morrison. That May she opened for Alejandro Sanz on his Sirope Tour in Colombia. Her 2017 EP Matices brought a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. After signing with Sony Music Colombia in 2018, she released "Tiempo al Viento" with Cuban singer Diana Fuentes, which led off her debut full-length album Visceral (2019). That record drew several Latin Grammy nominations, among them Album of the Year and a traditional pop vocal album nod, while "Buena Para Nada" was nominated for Best Pop Song. She followed with A Ciegas (2023) and has also received two Grammy nominations. Arenas brings a warm, expressive voice and heartfelt ballads to any stage.
