Book Matt Nathanson

Matt Nathanson is an American singer-songwriter whose music fuses folk with rock and roll, delivered on acoustic guitar, often a 12-string, and electric guitar, either solo or with a full band. Born in 1973, he is best known for "Come On Get Higher", his signature hit, and for "Giants", which opened ESPN's 2016 broadcasts of the World Series of Poker. His album Some Mad Hope was released on August 14, 2007, and its songs found a long life on television. "All We Are" was used on NCIS, Private Practice and One Tree Hill, "Come On Get Higher" appeared on ABC's Big Shots, and Scrubs featured both "I Saw" and "Little Victories". Over the years his band has included musicians who went on to play with Kelly Clarkson and Little Big Town, and his touring band as of late 2014 featured guitarist and artistic director Aaron Tap, percussionist Chris Lovejoy and bassist Shiben Bhattacharya. Earlier, he often performed with cellist Matt Fish. A Nathanson show pairs heartfelt, hooky songwriting with easygoing humor and an intimate connection with the audience.
