Book Leslie Jones
Leslie Jones is a stand-up comic and actress whose explosive energy made her a breakout star on Saturday Night Live, where she was a cast member and writer from 2014 to 2019. Her work on the show earned her back-to-back Primetime Emmy nominations as a supporting comedy actress in 2017 and 2018. Jones found comedy in college in 1987 after winning a campus funniest-person contest, then paid her dues in clubs in Los Angeles and New York, appearing on BET's ComicView and eventually earning prime slots at The Comedy Store. Her one-hour special Problem Child aired on Showtime in 2010, and Chris Rock became an early champion. On the big screen she played Patty Tolan in Ghostbusters (2016) and appeared in Masterminds, Coming 2 America and Good Burger 2, while television fans know her from Our Flag Means Death and as host of ABC's revival of Supermarket Sweep. She hosted the BET Awards in 2017 and has been a featured act at both Montreal's Just for Laughs and the Aspen Comedy Festival. Jones delivers loud, fearless, completely unfiltered comedy and an infectious presence that lifts any room.
