Book Lacey Brown
Lacey Brown, a singer-songwriter from Amarillo, Texas, earned a national television audience as a finalist on the ninth season of American Idol. Her road to the show took persistence: she first tried out for the eighth season and advanced to the Top 54 in Hollywood before a sing-off ended that run. She returned the next year, auditioning in Orlando with "Over the Rainbow" and earning praise from the full judging panel, including guest judge Kristin Chenoweth. During Hollywood week, her take on "What a Wonderful World" became the soundtrack for a montage of the singers who made the Top 24. Through the semifinals she sang "Landslide", "Kiss Me" and Brandi Carlile's "The Story", and she reached the Top 12 before her final performance, a version of "Ruby Tuesday", in March 2010. Brown finished in twelfth place and soon moved into her own music, releasing her debut EP, Let It Go, on May 31, 2011. Her heartfelt song choices and interpretive style make her a natural fit for intimate, song-focused performances.
