Book Johnnyswim

Johnnyswim is a Nashville duo pairing the songwriting and voices of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano, whose music blends folk, soul, blues and pop around two intertwined voices. Ramirez, a Jacksonville, Florida, native, studied music at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and the pair met at a Nashville church before teaming up as writers in 2005. They put out their self-titled debut EP independently in 2008, joined Bruce Sudano on "Morning Song" from his album Life and the Romantic in 2009, and followed with the EP 5-8 in 2010 plus the 2011 single "Bonsoir". After a trip to India they wrote "Hallelujah", donating all its profits to charity. The EP Home, Vol. 1 and the single "Annie" arrived in 2012, and while still unsigned they won backing from brands including Apple, Louis Vuitton and Tommy Hilfiger. Johnnyswim performed on A Prairie Home Companion in 2012, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2013 and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, where they sang "Don't Let It Get You Down" from their EP Heart Beats. They later signed with Big Picnic Records and released their first full-length album in 2014.
