Book Daya
Daya is an American singer and songwriter from Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh. While still a high school junior, she wrote and recorded her debut single, "Hide Away", in Los Angeles, and its April 2015 release drew attention from bloggers and Billboard alike. The song went on to reach number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and anchored her self-titled debut EP, Daya, released in September 2015. Her debut studio album, Sit Still, Look Pretty, arrived in October 2016, showcasing her growth as a writer. Daya's voice reached a global audience as the featured vocalist on the Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" (2016), a worldwide top-ten smash that won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording, giving her a Grammy win from her only nomination. She now records with ONErpm. On stage, Daya pairs clear, confident vocals with modern pop and dance production, moving easily between her own singles and the electronic anthem that made her a household voice.
