Book Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa has taken more albums to number one on Billboard's Blues Albums chart than anyone, a count that reached 29 with Breakthrough in 2025. The American guitarist, singer and songwriter started early, opening for B.B. King at age 12, and he has built his career independently, releasing his solo records through his own J&R Adventures label since his debut, A New Day Yesterday, in 2000. His catalog includes Blues Deluxe, Sloe Gin, The Ballad of John Henry, Dust Bowl, Different Shades of Blue, Blues of Desperation, Royal Tea and Time Clocks, along with two Grammy-nominated duet records with Beth Hart, Don't Explain and Seesaw. He has earned five Grammy nominations, a Blues Music Award in 2015 and honors at Canada's Maple Blues Awards. Off the stage he founded the nonprofit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation in 2011, which supports music education, and in 2020 launched Keeping the Blues Alive Records, which has produced records for Dion, Larry McCray, Joanna Connor and Joanne Shaw Taylor. Guitar fans also know him for his large collection of vintage instruments and amplifiers, much of which travels with him on the road.
