Book Infected Mushroom
Infected Mushroom is a psytrance act out of Haifa, Israel, started in 1996 by the producer pair Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani. Their palette spans electronica, dream trance and psychedelic sounds, mixing acoustic guitars and elaborate synthesized basslines with frequent shifts in tempo and drum patterns. Their catalog runs to sixteen studio albums, beginning with The Gathering (1999) and Classical Mushroom (2000), then B.P.Empire (2001), Converting Vegetarians (2003), IM the Supervisor (2004), Vicious Delicious (2007), Legend of the Black Shawarma (2009), Army of Mushrooms (2012), Friends on Mushrooms (2013), Converting Vegetarians II (2015), Return to the Sauce (2017), Head of NASA and the 2 Amish Boys (2018), IM25 (2022), RE:BORN (2024) and IM30 (2026). Their domestic and international sales place them among the strongest sellers in the history of Israeli music. Their live shows combine vocals and analogue instruments with a multimedia backdrop, giving a dance floor a full band feel rather than a standard DJ set.
