Book Grace
Grace, who now records as Saygrace, is an Australian singer who arrived in 2015 with a bold reworking of a pop classic. She signed to Regime Music Societe and RCA Records that year and went to Atlanta to record with Puff Daddy and Quincy Jones. Her cover of Lesley Gore's 1963 hit "You Don't Own Me," featuring rapper G-Eazy and co-produced by Jones, climbed to number one in Australia. That summer she was named Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month and performed the song live on NBC's Today show, and the track later turned up in the trailer for Suicide Squad and on an episode of NCIS: New Orleans. She followed with the EP Memo in May 2016 and her debut album FMA on July 1, 2016, a title standing for Forgive My Attitude, which carries contributions from songwriters and producers including Fraser T Smith, Parker Ighile, Diane Warren and Jones. That June she was the featured guest on Live from Daryl's House. Rebranding as Saygrace in 2019, she issued the single "Doin' Too Much" and the 2020 EP The Defining Moments of SayGrace.
